It's a hard life out there for a stray mama cat. Not only do you have to fend for yourself, you also have a litter of baby kittens that don't know how to do anything. You have to keep them safe, hide them, hunt for them, hunt for yourself, and bring them to water, amongst other things. That's why mama cats are not so shy about approaching strangers and asking for help. They don't just ask anyone, though, cats can usually tell who is a good purrson just by observing them. It's clear that this hooman was deemed kind and trusting before she even approached him.
